Little did I know my touring career would begin at a church in South Carolina. Morningside Baptist Church hosted an Academy of Arts Drama Seminar of "Town Mouse and Country Mouse", an original children's musical. Soon after, I returned to Taylors that summer as the lead in "The Child Stealer: Amy Carmichael's Fight for the Children of India". The following offered the role of Eva Torvald, a member of the Norwegian resistance in "The Lions of Trondheim." All three opportunities were week long camps of intense training, including singing, accent work, and truthful interpretations.
